Having finished “Tommy."
the Who’s Pete Townshend
says he has no other movie
plans, except for a 16-mm
documentary on a fellow dis-
ciple of Meher Baba. But
Roger Daltrey, the Who's
lead singer and the star of
“Tommy” has moved on.
with director Ken Russell,
into the film biography of
Franz Liszt, called “Liszto-
mania.”

Townshend visited the set
In England recently and got
more than a sneak preview.
His first sighting was of a

woman model, standing idle
-— and naked. “I’d seen her

always thought she was love-
ly. So she’s standing there, in
the nude, and shakes my
hand.”

Townshend shook his head.
“In the nude,” he said again.
“I’m very old-fashioned. I

Daltrey, Townshend added,

I was also noticeable. “He was
i swinging from a chandelier."
