1 THE WHO

Yes, The Whojust came
through the area in May. But you’re
talking about one of the greatest live
bands ever, even now, with just two
surviving members in Roger Daltrey and
Pete Townshend.

The band now is 15 months into its
“The Who Hits 50” tour to mark a half
century. But with dates only scheduled
though May, and hints (or sometimes, as

in the case of Townshend, outright
pronouncements) that it might be The

Who’s last tour, each of its stops is
worth seeing. This would be the last in
Pennsylvania.

That, and the fact that The Who has
one of the greatest catalogs of music in
history again makes this the top concert
of the week.

I 7:30 pm. Monday, Wells Fargo
Center, 3601 S. Broad St., Philadelphia.
