1963 – The Detours play a “New Year’s Rave” at the CAV Sports Ground, Northolt, West London.

1964 – The Detours play the White Hart Hotel in Acton

1965 – The Who play the Marquee Club in London

1968 – Arriving horribly jet-lagged at Mascot Airport in Sydney, The Who are immediately herded into a press conference. With Australia’s conservative press raising a stink about long-haired foreigners coming to take money out of Australia’s depressed economy, reporters pepper the group with hostile questions. The silent, dazed Who can do little to defend themselves before they are shuttled off for another flight to Brisbane.

1969 – The Who play the Mothers Club in Erdington, Birmingham

1970 – The Who fly back to London to record a new single at IBC Studios. “The Seeker” and a rare Roger-penned song “Here For More” are recorded.

1970 – The Who are at IBC Studios

1973 – Keith is a guest on BBC Radio One’s Roundtable. For some reason known only to him, he reads from the book Eating In Africa.

1974 – Billboard magazine carries an ad for “RTL” listing artists they promoted in France the previous year

1974 – Record Mirror magazine carries a brief article on “Who Paris trip”

1997 – Pete Townshend records “Drumming” later released on his website.
